Roman Cassini

Roman is a former military officer who specialised in strategic counter-terrorism at the UK’s Ministry of Defence. He joined Hosking Partners to follow his passion for investment and ESG analysis. Roman is particularly focused on the global energy transition, which he considers one of the most fascinating and complex problems facing investors and governments over the coming decades.

Roman graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature. He holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

In his spare time Roman enjoys skiing, golfing, mountaineering, and drinking the occasional glass of Californian red wine.
